The premium spirits smorgasbord that is Sarasota’s Whiskey Obsession Festival returns for its sixth year April 11 to 14. On top of all the interactive classes and tastings, though, attendees should be paying attention to the four-day fest’s new event: The Women of Whiskey Brunch.

Hosted at the Sarasota Yacht Club, Women of Whiskey celebrates a prominent trio of women who are impacting the whiskey business — over brunch. Jennifer Wells of Sarasota Whiskey Society serves as emcee, while Bourbon Women Founder Peggy Noe Stevens moderates the panel led by Gina Fossitt (national ambassador for Lot 40 Canadian Whisky), Ann Miller (Aberlour Single Malt Scotch’s international brand ambassador), and Steph Ridgway (manager of brand education for Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch).
